PyCon Uganda is an annual conference for the Python programming language in Uganda. The conference is an arena where Python users of all levels and backgrounds ranging from professional Python engineers, students, open source contributors, hobbyists and tech companies using the Python language meet to learn, share and grow with each other in regards to the Python rich eco-system.

Hey, are you an enthusiastic Python engineer, researcher or you are passionate about building and solving real world problems using the Python programming language and also care about growing together with the Python community through sharing technical knowledge and soft skills? Well this is the chance to share the best of you with other Pythonistas. For this reason, we welcome you to submit a proposal to present at this year's PyCon Uganda.

The main audience at this year's PyCon Uganda will be middle-level and senior developers.

We expect to have talks around the following programming domains:

  • Architecture case studies
  • Data Science
  • Data Engineering
  • Web Development
  • Enterprise Applications of Artificial Intelligence
  • Senior specific technology but framework agnostic for example topics about infrastructure, continuous integration and deployment, testing and quality automation

Please note the following key points while preparing to submit your proposal

  • The maximum time length for a talk is 30 minutes.
  • The maximum time length for a tutorial is 3 hours
  • The content material accepted for any submission are slides, video content, written code and blogs.
  • Please mind that all submissions are subjective to the selection process. Therefor, every submission is carefully considered but just submitting a proposal doesn't mean it will be automatically accepted. Our team retains complete control over the content and direction of the event.
