reactjsday 2026 is the 12th edition of the Italian React conference, organized by GrUSP, organizers of events like jsday and phpday

reactjsday 2026 is happening in Verona (Italy) on Thursday, 19th November 2026.

The event is international and all sessions will be in English.

reactjsday is a one-day conference.

🎤 CONFERENCE TOPICS we're looking for:

React Compiler, ViewTransitions & What’s New in React

React Compiler 1.0 is stable: no more manual useMemo and useCallback. Share your production experience with the Compiler, ViewTransitions for native page animations, and the architectural debate between server-first and client-first approaches.

React + AI: Beyond the API Call

We’re past “just call OpenAI”. We want talks on mature patterns: streaming UI with the Vercel AI SDK, agent workflows, MCP integration, and how AI-assisted coding is reshaping the frontend developer’s role.

React Native: New Architecture in the Wild

The New Architecture is now the default. Reanimated 4 is stable, Hermes v1 is in experimental, Nitro Modules are gaining traction. Bring your real migration stories, cross-platform lessons, and what the road to RN 1.0 looks like.

The Architecture Debate: SPA, RSC, or Something Else?

Server-first vs client-first. Opinionated frameworks vs manual composition. TanStack Start challenges Next.js. We want production data, honest trade-offs, and real failures - not marketing.

DX & Tooling: The Rust Revolution

Vite owns the space, but Rolldown, Oxc, and Biome are reshaping the toolchain. TypeScript is now exclusive for 40% of developers. Show us how these tools change real daily workflows.

Design Systems in the shadcn Era

shadcn/ui changed the paradigm: you own the code, not the dependency. How do you build and scale a design system today? We’re looking for real stories about component ownership, ViewTransitions, and LLM-assisted UI generation.

Modern State Management

34% of developers use no state library at all. Zustand and TanStack Query are the de facto standards, but does the React Compiler change what you actually need to manage? Share your philosophy, not just your stack.

Performance Optimization

The Compiler handles memoization, VirtualView tackles scroll-heavy UIs, and Turbopack cuts build times. We want real benchmarks, production wins, and techniques that go beyond the usual suspects.

Testing Strategies

Vitest now has a Browser Mode. But the real challenge is testing RSC and Server Actions. Show us what actually works in production: tools, patterns, and pipelines included.

Accessibility in Modern React Apps

Accessibility is not a feature, it’s a baseline. We’re looking for practical talks on WCAG compliance, React Aria in real design systems, and whether AI tooling helps or hurts inclusivity.
