RevolutionConf is a platform and language agnostic software development conference being held on May 17-18, 2018. We want to gather developers and technologist from all areas of the industry, and bring them together for two days of non-stop learning and camaraderie. No tech topic is off limits.
Some example topic groups from 2016 included: - Web - Robotics - Machine Learning - Soft skills (marketing for developers, finding jobs, mentorship, etc) - UI/UX - JavaScript, .NET, Ruby, Python, Java, you name it!
RevolutionConf talks are 30 minutes long, and we build in 15 minutes for extended Q&A or demonstrations. This schedule could change slightly. Don’t submit your time.
As a general rule, keep your sessions accessible to people that might not be familiar with your particular language or framework. This is a place to learn after all! Everyone should get something out of your talk.
We cover two hotel nights by default - and additional travel/expense needs are open to discussion. As a note, in 2016 and 2017 we were able to fulfill 100% of all speaker requests. Also, ALL unused travel budget will go to support our diversity scholarship. If you or your employer can support some of your extra travel, we'll send someone to RevolutionConf who'd normally not be able to attend.
