ScanAgile is one of the largest Agile events organised in the Nordics since 2008. We are putting together the most passionate people from the Agile and AI world, great speakers, and famous stars in the industry. Simply world-changing individuals whom we can learn from and share experiences with. We are aiming for an event with a diverse line-up, both local and international, with different perspectives and backgrounds. This year, we hope to welcome around 250 attendees, from students to seasoned practitioners.

ScanAgile is run by Agile Finland Ry, a not-for-profit association that aims to grow the Agile ecosystem in Finland by providing a place for a great collaborative community. We believe Agile is not a method, but a way of thinking about software development and knowledge work that leads to a bright and happy future.

Welcome to ScanAgile 2027 Call for Proposals!

It’s awesome to see you are interested in speaking at ScanAgile 2027! Held in Helsinki, Finland, we rely on enthusiastic practitioners like you to bring real-world energy, technical depth, and cultural reflection.

Our 2027 Theme: AI Amplified, Human Centered

Agile is evolving. While AI handles code generation, data synthesis, and metrics in seconds, it cannot build trust, navigate complex human emotions, or foster psychological safety. This year, we want to look at how AI amplifies human potential rather than replacing it.

We are looking for 45-minute sessions (talks) and 90 (2x45) - or 45 minute workshops.

What we are looking for: We want the real stories. Whether it’s a brilliant success, a messy failure, a hard-won leadership lesson, or a clever prompt and pipeline—bring us the change story, the repo, the metrics, and the lessons learned. If it's a story worth telling, we want to hear it.

Select Your Submission Track:

Please categorize your proposal into one of the following three tracks:

Track 1: Human-Centered Agile Leadership in the AI Era: Leading with empathy, trust, and clarity amidst accelerating change.

Sub-topics of interest: Agile leadership in AI decision loops; fostering psychological safety and preventing burnout in high-speed environments; guiding teams through cultural transformation alongside technological shifts.

Questions we'd love your talk to answer:

  • What did you have to change in your organization before AI actually started helping?
  • How do you know AI is making your teams better—not just busier?
  • When AI does the reporting and analysis, what should leaders spend their time on?
  • Who gets to say "this isn't working" when AI is everyone's favourite initiative?

Track 2: Engineering Excellence & Flow - Pairing Agile Practices with AI: Keeping quality, continuous delivery, and developer joy alive in AI-assisted pipelines.

Sub-topics of interest: Combining classical engineering (mobbing, pair programming, TDD, CI/CD) with AI coding assistants; maintaining flow and Developer Experience (DevEx); keeping the "Human in the Loop" for high-stakes testing, security, and architecture.

Questions we'd love your talk to answer:

  • When code is almost free to write, what becomes the real craft?
  • How do TDD, CI/CD, and mobbing change when an agent joins the team?
  • Your team ships twice as much—can everyone still explain how the system works?
  • An AI experiment takes a day, but the release still takes a month. Where is the real bottleneck?

Track 3: AI as an Agile Teammate: Collaboration, Coaching & Product Discovery Focus: Exploring how AI agents interact with team dynamics, rituals, and discovery without losing human warmth.

Sub-topics of interest: Onboarding AI agents into day-to-day Agile rituals (refinement, personas); shifting roles for Agile Coaches; using AI to accelerate customer feedback loops while keeping genuine human empathy at the core.

Questions we'd love your talk to answer:

  • What makes a great team when some of the teammates are AI and who is the retrospective for?
  • If AI can facilitate refinement and summarize the retro, what is the Agile Coach's most valuable work now?
  • AI can synthesize a thousand customer conversations. Does anyone on your team still have them?
  • How do juniors grow when AI does the work they used to learn from?

Submission Guidelines & Tips

Be Concrete: Explain what the audience will learn and how you achieved your results.

Share Mistakes: Failures and lessons learned are often the most valuable takeaways for our community.

Format: Clearly state if your submission is a talk or a hands-on workshop.

If you have any questions, reach out to our content team at speakers-scanagile@agile.fi. We can't wait to read your proposal!
