Seattle Code Camp is a one-day conference that brings together people from all sectors of our local developer community for a day of conversations and learning.
This is our 17th year of camp. Last year we had 800 registered attendees. We aim to provide quality content for our attendees; a mix of professional developers, software enthusiasts and student programmers. Code camp is about meeting with fellow developers and sharing knowledge with your peers.
This is a "grass roots" language and platform agnostic developer conference, free to attendees and open to presenters of all experience levels.
We are striving this year for diversity in our selection of speakers. We have set a goal for 35% of our speakers to come from under represented minorities i.e. persons of color, women, and non-binary genders.
This is a code focused one day all volunteer event. Any language, technology, or platform is fair game. Attendees expect to see real running code and walk away with knowledge they can put to use in their day to day jobs.
Speakers are free to submit more than one session however understand we may not have space to run all sessions. We try to spread the sessions around and not have one speaker doing too many sessions.
