Seattle Modern Excel+Power BI User Group has been founded in 2014 when Power BI was an external add-in to Excel called PowerPivot. We collaborated with the Excel team using this group to help build a community. We have a 9 year track record with monthly events - in total over 100, with fantastic speakers - local and from all over the world. Currently, there are over 2,500 members in our meetup community, and we tend to have engaging, and interactive sessions.
We host our events at the Microsoft Reactor in Redmond (Building 20) at 6pm Pacific Time. We provide a Teams link to join virtually, but if you are local we encourage to attend in person for a rich networking experience. If speakers cannot travel to Redmond, but the 6pm PST time slot is still ok, we can arrange a hybrid session with virtual speaker and hybrid audience.
Although our focus is Power BI, related topics like Azure Synapse, Data platform and Power Platform are welcome.
