Security BSides Dublin is a community-driven framework for building events, by and for information security community members. We encourage submissions from anyone with a passion for cybersecurity - students, hobbyists, researchers, professionals from public and private sectors, academia, and everyone in between.

We are keen to have a diverse panel of speakers so regardless of your age, gender, ethnicity etc - if you have a story to tell or experience to share, please submit it. To help you think through your submission, we've listed possible categories below to get you started. Don't worry if your talk doesn't fit neatly into these—they're just launching points.

Battle-Tested Insights:
Practical lessons from engineering and securing complex workloads. Talks dive into tackling tough security challenges with breakthrough approaches, cutting-edge frameworks, and battle-proven processes.

Active Threats: The digital battlefield never sleeps, and threat actors are constantly sharpening their arsenals. Talks expose the latest attacks causing havoc in the wild, fresh exploits making headlines, and the vulnerabilities catching organisations off guard.

Breaking New Ground: Venturing into unexplored corners of the security universe. Talks illuminate potential attack vectors before adversaries discover them, uncover bizarre system behaviours that defy expectations, and dive deep into emerging security frontiers.

Workshops: Roll up your sleeves for intense, hands-on action. These power-packed sessions deliver practical skills that translate across the security spectrum—no vendor lock-in, just pure technique.
