Shift+Enter Summit 2025 is a one‑day, grass‑roots conference that lights up Budapest with the latest around Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, Fabric, Microsoft 365, Teams, Copilot, and the soft‑skills that turn tech into business value. Our event is created to shift perspectives and help attendees enter the world of Microsoft - we value practical learning, and open knowledge‑sharing.

Taking place just as Budapest’s Christmas markets come alive, the summit brings together developers, consultants, data professionals, business users, and anyone curious about building with Microsoft tools. Whether you're just getting started or have years of experience, you'll find something useful—and someone to connect with.

Expect zero product pitches - just hands-on sessions, honest talks, and community-led learning across multiple tracks, all in English.

Help us shape our very first edition! We’re looking for fresh voices and seasoned speakers alike to deliver 45‑minute sessions (plus Q&A), 25‑minute lightning talks, or take part in a moderated debate on:

  • Technical Deep‑Dives – architectures, code, or demo‑driven explorations.
  • Business Impact – governance, adoption, ROI, case studies, and strategic insights.
  • Personal Journeys & Soft Skills – career pivots, leadership, accessibility, diversity, productivity, public speaking.

As organizers, we seek to forge a diverse lineup of speakers from both Hungary and abroad. For the latter, it may be a small incentive to know that the city's famous Christmas markets are just around the corner!  We are looking for topics at all levels (lv100 entry to lv400 expert) - just make sure to include the What?, Why?, and How? details of your session, plus an engaging yet informative title to help your future audience!

Why Speak?

  • Share & Grow – amplify your ideas and build your reputation in Central Europe.
  • Festive Budapest – enjoy thermal baths and Christmas‑market vibes.
  • Community Connections – meet passionate peers at the dinner and throughout the day.

Note: As a non‑profit inaugural event we cannot cover travel or accommodation costs. Speakers receive a complimentary event pass, an invite to our appreciation dinner (evening of 25th November), and plenty of Hungarian hospitality to get you acquainted with the Hungarian community!

Tips to draft a great session title & description:

  • Make sure your description and title is understandable for the Content Team
  • Feel free to use AI to bounce ideas back and forth or to craft your session / session title / session description, but feel free to think as well
  • Think as a participant: that title & description will be the only thing they’ll see before their session. Is it clear enough? Does it cover your session?
  • Please don’t write a novel, make it concise
  • Consider the takeaways / messages you’d like to give your audience
  • The “hot topics” usually get a lot of submissions, we encourage you to think about new ways to deliver your message, bring in interactivity, move away from the demos / presentations (if it’s different than other tech sessions, and you don’t want “give it away” in the Description, use the note for organizers)
  • No sales pitches, please!

Important dates:
