Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) welcomes late breaking abstracts for poster presentations for the for the 19th International Conference, co-hosted by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, from October 20-22, 2022.
The 19th International Conference will have both in person and virtual sessions, with a majority being in person. SIO is an international society, and during the continued global pandemic, we understand that travel to the US may be unexpectedly restricted. We encourage international submissions, as the virtual presentation option will be available in the case of restricted travel.
The deadline to submit is midnight Pacific Time on July 29, 2022. The submissions must be relevant to integrative oncology, and address the conference theme, “Delivering multidisciplinary integrative oncology care across cultures” will have a competitive advantage (but is not a pre-requisite for acceptance).
Members of the Scientific Review Committee will evaluate the quality of the submitted based on the following criteria:
Abstracts for poster presentations that represent the broad spectrum of integrative cancer research (basic; clinical; health care utilization; health equity & inclusion; cost-effectiveness; program and best practice guideline development) and clinical care are welcome. In keeping with the conference theme, individuals submitting are encouraged to consider sensitivity to health equity across various cultures and ethnicities. Read complete details here. Primary Author Responsibilities:
If the material has been accepted for publication or has recently been published, it is the author’s responsibility to make sure that the journal’s copyright rules are not violated. If chosen, the organizers and speakers must disclose conflicts of interest as required by continuing education accreditation bodies. Submissions are limited to a 500 word maximum.

To ensure your submission is presented accurately, we encourage you to submit your abstract submission by the new deadline of July 29, 2022.
