A technology conference for Senior IT Directors/Managers, IT Professionals and Developers who are interested in Microsoft 365 and Azure; focusing on all three pillars of the Microsoft platform: Business Applications, Modern Workplace and Azure.

If you are used to attending Microsoft events such as Microsoft Ignite or Future Decoded, then this is the event for you! The South Coast Summit will follow a similar structure; large exhibition hall, Microsoft partners and ISVs and sessions delivered by both Microsoft UK, Microsoft MVPs and UK Gold Partners.

Our goal is to share real world experiences, latest product offerings from Microsoft and to build a community with peers within the same market space.

We welcome all levels of speakers to submit a session for South Coast Summit 2021.

We ask speakers to read the following information prior to submitting their session.

Sessions

  • Speakers must align their session to one of the pre-defined session tracks.
  • Speakers may discuss topics covered by other tracks, should there be a natural cross over.
  • Speakers must classify the ‘level’ of their session using the Microsoft L100-L400 categorisation.
  • Speakers must decide their preference on delivery format: breakout room (40 min) or theatre (20 min).

Breakout Rooms

  • Each breakout session is 40 minutes in duration, inc. Q&A.
  • Each room will have a TV or projector, microphone and lectern.
  • Speakers are to bring their own laptops to present from (inc. laptop specific HDMI adapters)

Theatre Stages

  • Each theatre session is 20 minutes in duration, inc. Q&A.
  • Each stage will have a TV, microphone and lectern.
  • Speakers are to bring their own laptops to present from (inc. laptop specific HDMI adapters).

General Information

  • Sessions can be interactive i.e., ‘Ask me Anything’ and can include several speakers/panellists.
  • Sessions can include customers presenting/discussing their experiences/lessons learnt.
  • Sessions should be engaging / interactive / contain demos where appropriate
  • When submitting your session, please take into consideration the Summit attendee audience split: 10% Communication and Human Resource Managers, 40% IT Pros/Developers,  50% CTOs, CIOs, Business Decision Makers. 
  • Typical Ignite ‘Latest Product Offerings’ presentations are encouraged. The Summit will be a few days after Microsoft Ignite; and therefore ideally timed for discussing and evangelising latest offerings / announcements etc.
  • Speakers are to present in-person, at the venue, on the day of the event.
  • Sessions are to be delivered in English.
