Expo Sessions are talks that take place in rooms of 60 - 120. They are scheduled mostly during expo time, and by and large do not compete with breakout track sessions. We recommend that you bring a customer or partner to speak on your behalf or alongside you. Target 15 - 18 minutes. No vendor pitches: bring interesting technical content, not tutorials on your product. Up to 1 speaker per session will be featured on the website; unfortunately we do not have space to provide Expo Session speakers with a "speaker" badge nor will they be able to attend the speaker diner.
Booth sessions are talks you can present from your booth that appear on the program schedule. Vendor pitches ok but again discouraged; we advise that you attract attendees with interesting technical content for a 5-10 minute talk, and wrapping up the talk with an intro to your vendor offerings, where the speaker will then introduce the staff at your booth. Then dive into your vendor offerings either at the presentation area and your demo stations (space permitting) or transition into your demos directly from the presentation screen. Up to 1 speaker per session will be featured on the website; unfortunately we do not have space to provide Booth Session speakers with a "speaker" badge nor will they be able to attend the speaker diner.
Workshops are deep-dives into a particular workflow, pattern, goal, or product. We advise these to be code-along tutorials over lesson-and-exercise workshops. You should prepare pre-class resources including a repository with README instructions, pre-class resources, and milestones as branches or git tags. Our morning block of workshops are 80 minutes, and our afternoon block of workshops are 2 hours. Up to 1 speakers per workshop will be featured on the website; up to 1 speaker per workshop will be given a speaker badge with access to the speaker dinner on June 3.
Breakout Talks are sessions that are featured on the main breakout stages. There are two blocks of breakouts: the morning block (11:15am - 12:15pm) and the afternoon block (2:00 - 3:00pm). There are multiple breakout talks taking place at the same time. They run 18 minutes. Panels will be flatly rejected, but good-natured 1v1 oxford debates are encouraged. Speaker will be featured on the website and given a speaker badge with access to the speaker dinner on June 3.
Keynotes are general session talks from the top engineers and leaders in the industry. They run 18 minutes. Speaker will be featured on the website and given a speaker badge with access to the speaker dinner on June 3.
Travel and accommodations
Unfortunately we are not covering travel and accommodations for sponsored speakers.

This year we are also encouraging folks to submit “Screenshot Essay” versions of their talks, which are effectively mini-blogposts that promote your talk/will be seen more than your talk. Click through to see examples.
Both keynotes and breakout sessions are 18 minutes in length. We encourage you to dive right into the content with minimal self-introduction as the MC will introduce you with a bit of background. Your talk will be professionally recorded and published on our YT page, X, and LinkedIn for free consumption, along with an optional interview like this.
