Stir Trek 2018 will take place at the AMC Easton Town Center 30 on Friday, May 4th. This means we're back at a venue with giant movie screens, and we'd like you to be a part of it.
We have funds available to help with some travel expenses. Please email speakers@stirtrek.com and we'll see what we can do!
What is Stir Trek?
Stir Trek is a one-day conference focused on teaching software developers, and others in the industry, the latest and greatest in technologies, techniques, and tools. The full day of content is always concluded with a screening of a blockbuster film on its opening day. Pretty sweet, huh?

Is Travel Covered?
We do have a small travel budget set aside to help speakers get to Stir Trek. If you need travel assistance, please let us know what you need in your submission. If you're selected, we will work with you to cover as much as we can!

We are looking for both technical and non-technical sessions pertaining to every aspect of software development, including:
- App Dev (Languages, Frameworks, etc.)
- Architecture / Patterns
- Cloud / Infrastructure
- Data / Storage / BI
- Design (UI, UX, IA, etc.)
- DevOps / ALM
- Iot / Maker
- Mobile / Client
- Security
- Soft Skills
- Startups / Entrepreneurship
- Testing / Quality
- Web (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)
- Misc *.* (Anything else you can think of)
When in doubt, submit it anyway!
Sessions are 60 minutes in length. In 2017 we had 6 time slots with 8 sessions each. 2018 details are being finalized.
Full disclosure, open call does not guarantee that all chosen speakers will have been submitted in this manner - we do send out a few direct invitations to established speakers.
