Swiftsonic is a community-driven iOS & Swift developer conference with the heart of a technical gathering and the soul of a music festival.
Hosted in Nashville, Swiftsonic brings together developers of all experience levels for practical, real-world talks on Swift, SwiftUI, app architecture, tooling, performance, and life on Apple platforms. Sessions are designed to be inclusive, approachable, and immediately useful, whether you’re building apps, frameworks, games, or indie projects.
Swiftsonic leans into its musical roots — talks feel like sets, conversations turn into jam sessions, and inspiration carries a rhythm of its own. It’s a place to learn, connect, and resonate with the Swift community.
Swiftsonic is structured a bit differently than a traditional conference. Inspired by music festivals, our schedule pairs opener talks with headliner talks, followed by a break. Headliners are experienced speakers who have already been selected, and this Call for Speakers is for openers.
When submitting a proposal, please include:
• A short speaker bio: Tell us who you are and what you bring to the Swift and iOS community.
• Why you’d be a great fit for your proposed topics: Share your experience, perspective, or story, and what makes your voice valuable for these subjects.
• Topics you’d enjoy speaking about: You don’t need to lock yourself into a single talk idea, but we do need to get an idea of what you have in mind! We’d love to hear the topics you’re most excited to speak on, whether they’re short abstracts or full plans.
This information helps us understand:
1. What you’re excited to talk about
2. Who you are as a speaker
3. How you might pair well with one of our headliners
In late Spring 2026, selected openers will be paired with a headliner for optional opportunities such as mentorship, co-theming, or collaborative refinement of talks. Participation in these pairings is completely optional and intended to be supportive, not prescriptive.
Our goal is to create a program that feels thoughtful, cohesive, and welcoming — while giving newer or emerging voices a great stage alongside experienced speakers.
Speaker Travel & Accommodation
Swiftsonic is hosted in Nashville, Tennessee — Music City, and we aim to extend that same hospitality to our speakers while working within a fixed conference budget.
Speakers from the U.S. & Canada
We can offer up to three nights of hotel accommodation and travel reimbursement up to $500.
International Speakers
We can offer up to four nights of hotel accommodation and travel reimbursement up to $1,200.
As our budget is limited, the number of international speakers we’re able to support is capped. If you or your employer are able to help cover part or all of your travel or accommodation costs, it allows us to invite more speakers and create a more diverse program.
If you or your company are interested in contributing toward these costs, we’d be happy to recognize your support by including you as one of our sponsors.
3 covered nights for Domestic Speakers, 4 covered nights for International Speakers
