Teams Nation is a 100% free, 100% community driven online conference dedicated to Microsoft Teams, it's underlying technologies and it's extensibility options. It aims to bring together exceptional technical talent and thought leaders to democratise Teams knowledge, encourage participation in the Teams community and give those who are struggling financially an opportunity to attend a first class Teams conference

We are very excited to now offer tracks and sessions in French and German in partnership with our friends at the aMS community and Teams Community Day DE

We are looking for sessions in the following tracks

  • Adoption & Governance
  • Security & Compliance
  • Productivity
  • Meetings, Calling and Devices
  • Education & Community
  • Build & Extend
  • Table Talks & Unconference
  • The Power Platform
  • SOYS (SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer & Stream)
  • Teams Nation France (aMS)
  • Teams Nation Germany (TCD DE)

To define four new tracks

  • Table Talks & Unconference: This is an interactive track from multiple speakers, for speakers to engage with the audience, or to showcase Teams (I.e. case study of Teams in the real world)
  • SOYS (SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer & Stream): This is a track that focuses on other collaborative technologies within Microsoft 365 and often used alongside Teams. Submissions for this particular track do not have to be specifically about Teams
  • Teams Nation France (aMS): A dedicated track for sessions in the French language
  • Teams Nation Germany (TCD DE): A dedicated track for sessions in the German language

About the sessions

  • All sessions will be either 30 - 40 minutes in length. Both should accommodate time for Q&A
  • Sessions can be submitted in English, French or German. Note we have dedicated tracks for French and German sessions. Sessions for the Table Talks track can be submitted in any language
  • For this event, we will be looking to accept around 70 sessions
  • Whilst we permit multiple submissions, for sessions in English only one will be accepted in the interests of fairness to other speakers. The caveat to this is if you are submitting for both an individual session and a panel session where you are a part of a group running a panel/table talk or if you are submitting sessions in multiple languages
  • We actively encourage joint submissions

Submission Guidelines

  • This is a community event.  We will not accept corporate sessions promoting third party products or aiming to sell at attendees
  • We welcome submissions from new, as well as, experienced speakers
  • If you are submitting multiple sessions we would recommend submitting across tracks as opposed to multiple sessions on a single track. This helps us significantly with selection and scheduling
  • Being speakers ourselves, we highly value the time speakers put into their sessions, and will 100% respect that a few may not want their session recorded. If the submission is successful, we will delete these after the event and they will not be posted to our YouTube site. However, as a community event which is looking to democratise knowledge, the ability for us to put the session on demand after the event - especially as it runs simultaneous sessions, will be a factor in selection
  • For the productivity track, we are interested in seeing how Teams works with other applications in the Microsoft 365 stack
