Yesterday, December 6th we ended the First ever Commit Your Code Conference, the crowd overwhelmingly was begging for us to do this again. Who are we to disappoint? The dates may shift depending on the venue but tentavtively, this is what we are aiming for.
We raised a total of 10,197.70 for charity! 50% going to St Jude Childrens Hospital and 50% going to FreeCodeCamp!
The Commit Your Code Conference is a conference we will be donating 100% of ALL TICKET SALES TO CHARITY! It is a way to raise money to help others, impact lives, support developers, and make an actual difference!
IMPORTANT INFO:
We will publicly share all of the ticket sales and how much revenue we make. We will then show all of the donations.

HEY! Thanks for considering to apply to speak! Our conference donates 100% of ALL ticket sales to charity. We do not keep a penny. The organizing team does not monetize this and we publish all of our financials publicly so everyone can see where the money goes. For CYC 24, we put on the entire conference with a budget of $11,500. We are very good at stretching a dollar and making it work for the community!
We have four tracks, and these are the talks we are looking for: Technical talks related to JavaScript, Java, Cloud, or .Net! We will have around 100 speakers join us this year.
Talks are 25 minutes in length. Workshops are 2 hours long. Our stretch goal is to hopefully get enough sponsorship to cover speaker travel, but as of this very moment, we can not make that accommodation. I truly know this makes things a bit more difficult for speakers to want to come down and speak. I am definitely pushing hard to try and get enough sponsorship but at this very moment, we can not make that commitment just yet.
