WE CAN NOT COVER SPEAKER TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATIONS! If this changes I will let you know but since we run on extremely thin funding, we just do not have the budget but I am trying very hard to make this happen. I just want to be transparent and upfront with everyone about this. Last year we raised $65,000 in sponsorship money and spent every penny. This year the costs to put on the conference have more than doubled and we are actively working on trying to get the money for it. Due to this, we can not cover speaker travel or accommodations but if this changes, I will let you know!

Please keep tech topics technical. 90% of the submissions have been soft topics so far.

For CYC25 we had 860 in person and 8,100 online. Huge turnout with 125 speakers and the rooms were packed! We donate 100% of ALL ticket sales to charity. We do not monetize this conference. The average cost to attend a $700 conference is around $2,5000. Hotels, Flights, Food, Entertainment, etc. My goal was to make a $700 conference experience but making it for $40 and we have succeeded with this for the last 2 years!

Income should never be a barrier to educational resources.

Since we do not monetize the conference, every dollar we have goes towards making the conference experience great for attendees, bringing value to people and helping change lives while supporting charity!

We raised a total of 34,197.70 for charity! Charities we have supported so far are Operation Kindness, FreeCodeCamp, and St Jude Children's Hospital!

The Commit Your Code Conference is a conference we will be donating 100% of ALL TICKET SALES TO CHARITY! It is a way to raise money to help others, impact lives, support developers, and make an actual difference!
