We are inviting speakers to share practical, insightful, and experience-driven talks around technical writing, documentation, open source, and emerging approaches to creating and maintaining useful information.

Our goal is to bring together writers, developers, documentation engineers, open-source contributors, educators, product teams, and other professionals who work with information and documentation in different ways.

Topics We Welcome

1. Technical Writing & Documentation: Talks can explore how technical writing works in different environments, including developer documentation, API documentation, etc.

2. Documentation Beyond Software Engineering: We welcome talks that explore how documentation is created, managed, and used in other industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, science, etc.

3. Open Source & Documentation: We welcome talks exploring the relationship between documentation and open source, including contributing to documentation as an open-source contributor, managing documentation communities, etc.

4. AI Tools & AI-Powered Workflows: AI is changing how documentation and content teams work, and we welcome practical discussions around this evolution.

NOTE: We are especially interested in practical implementations and lessons from real projects, rather than purely theoretical discussions about AI.

We encourage submissions that:

You do not need to be a software engineer or a career technical writer to submit a talk.

If your work involves creating, managing, explaining, organizing, or communicating complex information, your experience may be valuable to our audience.
