There are still knowledge gaps around accessibility issues and many barriers and hurdles still exist when building and developing websites. UMBRAAD is an opportunity for Umbraco and web practitioners to get together, learn and discuss accessibility in general, find out what's happening with Umbraco accessibility and to pick up any tools and techniques that may help them improve the accessibility of their sites.
Sessions will be delivered virtually and will not be recorded.
CFPs will be anonymised and reviewed by a panel of local community members, with a few slots reserved for sponsors.
Everyone involved in the event has to read and agree with our code of conduct.
If you need any help or want to brainstorm, please connect with us on email@example.com
Umbraad is an independent event organized by the Umbraco Accessibility Team: Danny Lancaster, Jan Skovgaard Olsen, Matt Wise, Mike Masey, Rachel Breeze, Tiffany Prosser
We welcome sessions focus on web accessibility, ideally within the Umbraco ecosystem although it's not a requirement.
Talks from project manager, tester, developer and advocates are all welcome. We kindly request no sales pitches.
