This year we will be hosting one main track which will focus on technical, innovation and developer-focused topics.

We're looking for in-depth 45-minute talks and will have slots for some 10-minute lightning talks.

These 10-minute lightning talks are intended for a quick information drop about some new technology, giving attendees a good idea about something new and some direction on where to go to find out more.

Alongside the main track, an extended hackathon will take place where attendees involved in the Umbraco Package Jam on Thursday, 19th March, can finish up their package ready to bring it to the 2nd Package Awards at the end of the conference.

The style of talks we're after should be focused on technical topics, something new or something that you think other developers would be interested in. Your talk can appeal to a range of experience levels or can be more intermediate or advanced.

We're interested in both front-end and back-end topics. This could include:

New technologies: 

• Share insights on Umbraco v17, new JS frameworks, and AI
• Projects you're working on that are unique or experimental
• Mobile apps using a headless Umbraco backend
• Anything innovative or cutting-edge in your workflow or tech stack

Developer-heavy topics:

• Integrating third-party products (DXP anyone!)
• DevOps, containerisation, and new workflows
• Debugging techniques, development tips, and tricks
• Package development and hosting platforms
• Unique or unusual projects using Umbraco or other tech
• Testing strategies or processes
• Custom tools or innovative deployment methods

Accessibility and Sustainability:

• Discuss building inclusive, eco-friendly websites and their real-world impact

Session Length 

We offer both 45-minute and 10-minute lightning slots.

Deadline

This call for speakers ends Monday, 5 January 2026 @ 11:59 pm.

Event format

We look forward to welcoming you in person. No sessions will be recorded or live-streamed. Remote speaking is not an option.

Speaker selection

A panel of reviewers will rate and comment on each submission. Final selection depends on time slot availability and topic diversity.

Results

Results will be communicated no later than 31 January 2026 – we may begin inviting speakers before this date, so don't worry if you don't hear back right away.

Speaker support

For those giving talks and who don't live in the local area, we'll cover accommodation costs for the night before and night of the conference in Bristol to make it easier for you to join us.

All speakers will be given a free ticket.

Tickets

Tickets sell out quickly, so we strongly advise anyone who is planning to or has submitted a talk to also purchase a ticket as early as possible in case your talk is not selected.

Ticket refund

If you are selected as a speaker and have already purchased a ticket, you can get a refund or transfer your ticket to someone else.
