We are excited to invite speakers to Umbracokalaset 2025, Swedish Umbraco Festival.
Language
Presentations are welcome in either Swedish or English.
Session Length
Choose from two formats:
- Show and Tell (10 minutes): Share something during our Show and Tell session, it could be something you’ve built or some short insight. No performance pressure, just inspiration and curiosity.
- In-depth talk (20, 30, or 45 minutes): Present a technical solution, case study, lesson learned, or other experience that inspires and educates.
Event Format
We look forward to welcoming you in person this year. No sessions will be recorded or live-streamed. Remote speaking is not an option.
Speaker Selection
A panel of reviewers will rate and comment on each submission. Final selection depends on time slot availability and topic diversity.
Ticket Refund
If you are selected as a speaker and have already purchased a ticket, you can get a refund or transfer your ticket to someone else.
Travel & Accommodation
We understand that attending a conference comes with costs, and while we'd love to help where we can, Umbracokalaset is a community-run event with limited resources. If you're able to cover your own expenses, we kindly ask that you do so to help us support as many speakers as possible. However, if financial assistance is needed, please reach out, and we'll do our best to help.

Session Formats:
Show and Tell (10 minutes)
Share something you’ve done or briefly talk about an idea or insight in 10 minutes. No performance pressure, just inspiration and curiosity. Perfect for sharing experiences and learning from each other.
- Time: 10 minutes
- Content: Show or talk about something interesting you’ve done or thought about
- Purpose: Inspire others and spark curiosity – no need for a finished solution
We gather multiple short talks from different companies for a varied and engaging mix.
In-depth Talk (20, 30, or 45 minutes)
Give a longer talk about a technical solution, case study, lesson learned, or other interesting experience. We value authenticity and inspiration.
- Time: 20, 30, or 45 minutes (please specify the length)
- Content: You decide – share what you’re passionate about
- Purpose: Provide valuable knowledge and inspiration to others, without aiming for perfection
