UX Y’all is the annual conference hosted by the Triangle UXPA, a North Carolina chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association.

Theme:

Human. By Design.
From optimized to understood.

We’re living through the most automated moment in history. Systems are infinitely faster and relentlessly logical. Built to optimize, not to understand. Humans aren’t logical or linear. We bring context, emotion, and contradiction into everything we do. As systems get better at efficiency, the gap between what’s built and what people actually need grows. That’s not a flaw to work around. That’s the work. At UX Y’all 2026, we bring together everyone who designs for people. This is why it matters. This is why we’re here.

At UX Y’all 2026, experience:

🔹 Keynotes from Raleigh’s top design leaders

🔹 Workshops where you’ll solve real challenges

🔹 Case studies from NC’s fastest-growing companies

We’re tackling:

✦ Designing for the people that systems overlook

✦ Building trust in automated experiences

✦ Research methods that reach beyond the data

✦ Advocating for the human when no one else is
