Ongoing online speaking events for the (Virtual) KCSSUG (part of the Azure Data Tech Group community). Sessions are generally once a month on Wednesdays at 6 PM CDT. 

KCSSUG is for all individuals interested in learning various topics about Microsoft's Data Platform. There is no charge to attend and you are encouraged to bring others. Events may be recorded and posted on our channel with the permission of the speaker.

Overview

Topics can include anything Microsoft Data Platform related and all level sessions are invited to submit. Speakers should be knowledgeable in the topic in the submitted session topic. 

All session levels are invited to submit as we have a large and diverse member group. Speakers should be knowledgeable in the submitted session topic. New Speakers are encouraged to submit.

The Virtual KCSSUG supports lifting up voices that may not always be heard and we ask that you please share this CFS with those you feel we need to hear more from. 

Topics

Microsoft data platform, including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, Synapse, Data Factory, AI, Governance, and related areas. 

Currently, we are not accepting sponsor sessions. 

Sessions submitted by persons other than the speaker are prohibited. 

Session Format

Sessions typically run for 60 minutes, though it's not unheard of to run over. The speaker may determine the mode and time of Q&A inclusion.

Dates posted are somewhat flexible with a starting time of 6 PM CDT. Speakers in other time zones are encouraged to submit, but please note the session start times are listed in Central Time. Occasionally, we have guest spots available in addition to the listed data\times.

Dates posted are currently tentative and may change due to speaker/organizer conflicts, though we try to stay true to the schedule as much as possible for consistency to our members. Please indicate the month(s) that you feel you will have availability as we like to have at least 1 speaker per month. 

Additional

Sessions may be recorded and placed on our YouTube channel unless speaker requests otherwise. Speaker is always asked before the session and guests are notified. If circumstances change and speaker needs a video removed, we will honor the request.
