The Workplace Ninja Summit is one of the biggest in-person workplace related community driven IT conference in Europe. This year, Baden in Switzerland will be the place where a maximum of 500 Workplace Ninjas will come together to learn from you as a speaker and share their experience with their peers. All presentations are held in a friendly, inclusive, cooperative atmosphere and on an equal level with the audience.
Unique Sessions
One of our aims for this conference is not only to give you and our attendees a unique experience, but also to create an inclusive learning experience where knowlegde is being expanded.
If your session is exactly the same as in a different event, then we are not able to increase the knowledge sharing, only duplicate it. Please make sure your session submissions for the Workplace Ninja Summit are unique and up to date.
Of course, we understand that you still want to practice your sessions at User Groups and that you may also submit similar sessions to other large conferences. Try to tweak the sessions in such way that it is not a repeat.
The sessions are not recorded!
Session Length
Sessions will be 60 minutes in length. Make sure to leave some time for questions and answers during or after the session.
(Also this year we will have a separate Ninja Zone at the venue were you can meet the attendees and answer questions).

The primary conference language is English, all of the sessions will be in English.

We are looking forward to see what kind of sessions you will submit. With the number of technologies that our topics interacts with, the choice is endless.
What your session submission should include
Describe the goals of your session, what makes your session unique for the attendee and why the attendee must attend your session.
Define the level of the session, is the content of your session Intermediate, Advanced or Expert. Please make sure to correctly define the session level, the attendees are really using the level as a reference to see if they want to attend your session or not.
Provide at least three key takeaways that help us to rate your session, but also help the attendee to decide to join your session!
Workplace Ninja Podcast
Again this year we will have a live Workplace Ninja Podcast scheduled, we are always looking for nice subjects to cover during the podcasts. If you have a subject, or you want to join the podcast, please let us know via this call for sessions form.
How we select speakers
We have again established a community advisory board that will review and discuss your submissions. There is no first come first serve. A minimum of 2 sessions should be submitted with a maximum of 5.
We may approach you to combine forces with another speaker if the submitted subjects are alike. If you have questions, please reach out to speaker@wpninjas.eu.
Speaker confirmation
The call for sessions will be closing on Saturday the 13th of May 2023.
We will inform all speakers chosen and otherwise by May 31st, which will begin our promotion efforts for the event.
What we expect from you as a speaker
As a speaker at Workplace Ninja Summit 2023, you are the heart and soul of this conference. That is why we ask you to be present during the summit to peer with the attendees and wear your speaker shirt. We have no separate speaker room; we have a Ninja Zone where you can meet the attendees. Be social :)
We are looking for speakers who enjoy attending this conference, and who love to dive into the event, share knowledge and be part of it.
We ask that you help us to promote the event using the hashtag #WPNinjaS tweets after being selected and during the event. Blog posts, LinkedIn posts by you well all have a great impact on on the amount of attendees and the success of the summit. If you let us know, we will also help to promote them.

We can ask you for a online test session to take some actions, about the topic in your session and give you some tips and tricks for your presentation skills.
Speaker costs will be reimbursed after the event, you have to send your receipt. In case of no show costs will not be reimbursed.
This is an in-person event in Baden, Switzerland. A maximum of 3 nights hotel will be covered. European flights will be covered with a maximum of 600.-CHF / overseas flights are covered with a maximum of 1200.-CHF. (only economy tickets will be reimbursed)
