Blessing Agbor – Cybersecurity & AI Researcher | Community Leader | Cyber Anthropologist

Blessing Agbor is a DevSecOps professional with a growing portfolio in secure development, threat modeling, and cybersecurity tooling. She has hands-on experience with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, and Burp Suite. She is actively expanding her expertise in security automation, container security, API Security, and cloud-native DevSecOps practices.

Blessing blends her technical foundation with a unique background in Sociology and Anthropology, which informs her research and advocacy around AI safety, digital rights, and the human impact of technology. She has authored policy-focused work on the Judicial Framework for AI in Africa and is currently exploring how AI tools affect student cognition, critical thinking, and academic integrity.

She has served in technical and leadership roles for major community-led events, including Google Developers Group's Build with AI, DevFest, TechSafe, and STEMCON Tour, and regularly speaks on how security, ethics, and human behavior intersect in tech development. Currently, she’s working on API security projects—deepening her expertise in securing APIs, understanding real-world attack surfaces, implementing threat modeling, and integrating security seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines. Her focus is on building resilient, developer-friendly security workflows that align with modern DevSecOps practices.

Onstage, I bring a blend of storytelling and technical insight to topics ranging from DevSecOps, AI ethics, and secure innovation to how anthropology can reshape our approach to security. I’ve spoken at platforms like Women Techmakers, DevFest, and STEMCON Tour, among others. Blessing’s community work is grounded in intentionality: creating access, encouraging ethical innovation, and ensuring underrepresented voices are not just included, but empowered to lead. Through her events, talks, and ongoing mentorship, she is influencing how the next generation sees and practices cybersecurity and AI on the continent.

When I’m not exploring threat landscapes or leading community strategy, you’ll find me documenting my journey through vlogs, photos, or quiet reflections — often where tech meets humanity.
