Cathy has specialized in water treatment of emerging contaminants with ion exchange and other media for almost 18 years. In addition to her business development activities in groundwater and direct lithium extraction and brine purification, Cathy is the incoming Vice Chair of the AWWA Ion Exchange Committee Meeting as well as a co-chair of Ion Exchange Subcommittee that is writing a standard for ion exchange use in drinking water, which includes the use of single-use ion exchange resin for PFAS and Chrome VI. She is also the California-Nevada AWWA PFAS Subcommittee Secretary.
She received her BS in Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University and her MBA from UNC Chapel Hill.
