Chitiz Tayal is a Senior Director of Data and AI at Axtria, specializing in enterprise AI, healthcare data engineering, and cloud-native data architecture for regulated life-sciences organizations. He designs and leads the delivery of enterprise data platforms used by Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies, with a focus on governed data foundations that connect enterprise systems to AI agents reliably and safely.

Chitiz has delivered keynote addresses at technical conferences in artificial intelligence and data architecture, and is co-author of “Data Governance and AI Ethics in Healthcare: Balancing Innovation, Privacy, and Regulatory Compliance in Intelligent Systems.” He has presented on enterprise context architecture for agentic AI, including at the IEEE Workshop on AI-Native Networking, Resilience and Forensics at Rochester Institute of Technology.

He serves on the Administrative Committee and 2026 Workshop Steering Committee of the IEEE AI-Native Networking SIG, and is a 2026 candidate for Secretary of IEEE Boston Section.

He writes and speaks on data governance, trustworthy AI, and the architectural foundations required to deploy AI agents safely in enterprise and regulated environments.
