Godwin is an AI/ML engineer with a background in health sciences who leads the AI for Health portfolio at Data Science Nigeria, where his team builds AI solutions spanning multilingual health chatbots (Ìtọ́jú, DKT's Honey and Banana), traditional medicine data infrastructure (TradoMedAtlas), a geospatial micro-planning dashboard for Kano State, and AI-enhanced disease surveillance built on SORMAS. His work sits at the intersection of public health, low-resource African language NLP, and applied ML, with published research at ICLR and AfricaNLP.
