Greg is a seasoned information security executive with over 33 years in IT and information security. He is the founding principal of vCISO Services, LLC, an information security consulting firm providing small and midsized businesses with strategic information security expertise. He previously served in CISO roles for FirstBank, Nashville/Davidson County, and MTSU. He hosts The Virtual CISO Moment podcast and serves on the MTSU Information Systems and Analytics advisory board. He previously served on the board of directors for the NTC Veterans Peer Group as a veteran advisor, FS-ISAC Community Council inaugural co-chair, Mid TN ISSA chapter board member, Mid TN Risk Management Association board member, and chair of the TN CISO Roundtable. He holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Project Management from MTSU, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, is a CISSP and CMMC-RP, is Open FAIR certified, and is a veteran (USAF Desert Storm).
