My name is Hillary Okello. I'm a full-stack software engineer who specializes in JavaScript, React, Redux, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Python, Google Cloud Platform and AWS to comfortably build solutions for businesses based on ideas, solve business puzzles and give professional advice with my coding knowledge.

I graduated from Microverse, a remote software development school that allows devs from all over the world to pair-program and build real-world projects together. I have spent the last three years gaining professional experience with industry best practices(Git Flow, Linters, Pair Programming, OOP, SOLID, MVC, TDD) and mastering mainstream technologies in web development(Ruby on Rails, React/Redux, JavaScript(ES6), SQL) by building 20+ real-world projects.

Some of the companies I've worked with include, Microverse, CODEIT Institute of Technology, StartX one of Turing's client companies, and Ustawi Grain Millers Mombasa. I am currently working with Turing as a Software Engineer and am also working as a part-time code reviewer at Microverse. I also provide technical services as an IT support specialist assistant at Ustawi grain millers Mombasa.
