Jennifer White, B.Sc., M.I.D.S.T., ACAAB (ABS), combines professional education with lived experience as an Associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (ACAAB) through the Animal Behavior Society. Her passion for understanding animal behaviour began in childhood and grew through her work with homeless animals and her own rescue Doberman, Cocoa, whose behavioural challenges inspired her to pursue advanced training.
Jennifer holds a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of New Brunswick and a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington. Through her consulting practice, Thriving Animal Behaviour Solutions, she works with pet owners, shelters, and animal welfare organizations to develop practical, welfare-focused behaviour support systems that improve outcomes for both animals and the people who care for them.
Jennifer serves as Vice President of the Fredericton SPCA Board of Directors, where she supports initiatives that advance animal welfare in her community. She is passionate about education and helping organizations and animal caregivers build stronger, more compassionate relationships with animals through evidence-based behaviour support.
