Jim Hodgson is Executive Director and Chairman of the Fort Worth Aviation Museum, home to the largest collection of touchable warbirds in Texas. In 1998 he helped found the OV-10 Bronco Association, the museum's nonprofit parent organization, and has led the effort to bring its 40-aircraft to North Texas for education and preservation. He is a past Chairman of the Tarrant County Historical Commission and a founder of the Tarrant County Vietnam Memorial Foundation. His preservation work has earned the Commission's 2016 aviation preservation award, the DAR's 2017 Distinguished Citizen Award, and the Commission's 2024 Tom Vandergriff Award for long-term public service to Tarrant County history. Hodgson, a retired Continental Airlines Captain with 28,000 flight hours, is a doctoral candidate in museum studies at the University of the Incarnate Word, researching sustainable heritage. He lives in Grapevine with his wife, Donna.
