My business is named SelfL. SelfL is a mental health awareness brand with a purpose far beyond products. While the business offers thoughtfully designed apparel and accessories, these are just tools in our mission. At its core, SelfL is dedicated to fostering open conversations about mental well-being. We believe mental health awareness is vital in today’s world, and everything we create is a catalyst for connection, reflection, and mutual support. We aim to break stigma, empower conversations, and make mental wellness part of everyday life.

My 'why' for creating SelfL is deeply personal. I’ve faced mental health struggles throughout my life, and when I lost my younger brother to suicide in 2021, it was a pivotal moment. I recognized I had been on a similar path, but one thing that pulled me back from the edge was dance—it truly saved my life. Even at my lowest last year last year, I achieved incredible things—like being number one nationally in sales. That taught me if I can achieve that at my worst, imagine what’s possible at my best. SelfL is about offering that hope to others.
