Joshua Ferguson is the founder of VeriSwarm (veriswarm.ai), where he's building the trust and security infrastructure that regulated industries need before they can put AI agents into production. VeriSwarm's positioning as a "flight recorder for AI agents" — covering identity, policy enforcement, audit trails, and verifiable evidence — comes directly out of the fifteen-plus years he's spent in systems and infrastructure engineering.

Before VeriSwarm, Joshua worked as an Infrastructure Architect running workloads across multiple global data centers. He's built Kubernetes-native platforms, written a lot of Terraform, and shipped infrastructure into environments where downtime is measured in regulatory filings. That background is where the VeriSwarm thesis came from: the people who have actually run critical systems know what it takes to trust them, and most AI agent deployments are missing that scaffolding entirely.

He's written publicly about AI ethics and moral consideration for AI systems, and he maintains an open AI infrastructure engineering curriculum on GitHub as a free alternative to paid bootcamps.

Joshua is interested in AI trust infrastructure for both technical and personal reasons. He thinks the systems being deployed into regulated industries over the next few years will set precedent that's hard to undo later, and that it's engineers, not policy teams, who have to build the infrastructure that makes responsible deployment possible.
