Kapil Jain is a Senior Product Designer at Microsoft, where he leads the evolution of AI-assisted design and new ways of working for enterprise product teams. His work focuses on exploring how AI can transform the product design process—from research and ideation to prototyping, delivery and collaboration—while building scalable component libraries and design systems that enable teams to design and build AI-powered enterprise experiences.

Alongside this, Kapil works at the intersection of product design, AI, design systems and design engineering, helping designers and product teams rethink how they work and collaborate in an AI-first environment. He also regularly mentors and trains designers and product managers across India and the US.

With 14+ years of experience, Kapil brings a diverse design background spanning automotive, digital products and complex enterprise software. Before Microsoft, he held product and design leadership roles at DP World and H&M, and began his career in automotive design, working with brands including Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover, Audi and Tata.

His areas of interest include AI-assisted product design, AI-native enterprise experiences, human-AI interaction, design systems, design engineering and the future of product teams.
