Navigating the Chatbot Frontier: Hard-Earned Lessons and Best Practices

Since I got involved in making different chatbots in 2017 I learned some lessons which I want to share with you. We're going to take a look into planning, getting feedback, ops and how to handle people.

The stuff you don't want to write

Documentation. Yes, that dreadful piece of information everyone's supposed to write, keep up to date, nurture and store in an easy to find way right? Right.
Join me and find out how I solved the hurdles to get my team in actually writing decent documentation and all the aforementioned properties.

Power to the Virtual Agents

Since years I've been building chatbots / assistants for enterprises with technologies from Microsoft or IBM. Since recently Microsoft offers the possibility on their low code Power Platform to create the same. Let's see how that goes.

Serverless web applications with Blazor

Microsoft's implementation of webassembly, Blazor, forms a great way to create modern web applications. Combine these with Azure services like storage, serverless and you can develop interesting scenarios. Let's explore how you can create massively scalable applications to the masses.

A revisit of the Azure App Services

It seems all sessions are about either containers or serverless nowadays. Spoiler alert, these aren't the only things in cloud. Lets revisit or perhaps get to know for the first time Azure App Services and why they're still so darn cool.

A revisit of the Azure App Service

nowadays all sessions seem to be about either containers or serverless. So, it's time to revisit the trusted Azure App Services and how it can help your day to day work. It offers high availability, autoscaling, automated deployments from various environments and a slew of other cool features.

Embracing Agile Documentation: A professional approach to streamline your technical writing process

In this session, we delve into the world of documentation, exploring its significance and the challenges it poses. Join us to uncover the proven strategies employed to motivate teams in crafting high-quality and easily accessible documentation. Learn how to conquer the obstacles that hinder effective documentation and cultivate a culture of proficient technical writing within your organisation.

Usually this session gets into a lot of interaction with the audience and depending on it I'll take it more technical (like setting things up in azure devops from scratch, short intro to mermaid etc).
