Leah Hargrove is a seasoned Registered Dental Hygienist and Tennessee Native with a decade of experience in both Dental Service Organizations (DSO) and private practice settings. She earned her Associate of Science degree from Cleveland State Community College, where she was a collegiate athlete on a full scholarship for softball in 2010. Leah continued her education at Remington College, obtaining an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. Leah is currently advancing her education with a Bachelor of Health Science at Missouri Southern State University.

Leah is dedicated to enhancing mental health awareness within the field of dentistry. Her personal journey—marked by the profound impact of mental health issues, including the tragic loss of her father to suicide—drives her commitment to integrating mental health considerations into dental care. This passion propels her efforts to educate and advocate for meaningful reforms in the field.

Certified in Mental Health First Aid and as a QPR Gatekeeper, Leah is well-equipped to support individuals in crisis. She is also actively involved with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), reflecting her strong commitment to mental health advocacy. Additionally, Leah is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) and has recently applied for the American Academy of Dental Hygiene (AADH).

Leah’s passion for making a difference goes beyond her career. She wants to show her daughter, Briella, that anyone can make a positive impact in the world. With her husband Joshua’s unwavering support, which is the reason she is here today, Leah is empowered to pursue her mission. His constant encouragement and belief in her drive her forward every day.
