Dr. Marina Badillo-Diaz is an experienced school administrator and counseling director with a demonstrated history of working in community mental health and in education as a social worker. She completed her doctorate in social work at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work focusing on social work practice in charter schools. She is presently a Schools Ambassador Fellow with the US Department of Education conducting research with New Visions for Public Schools on 21st Century Skills Advisory Program in Transfer Schools. Prior, she she was the director of a youth development department in an alternative transfer high school overseeing social emotional learning, post-secondary planning, and mental health services. In addition, she has experience as a school social worker for grades K to 12 in a middle and elementary school century skills.
