AJala Marvellous is a data scientist and a Machine Learning Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the AI/ML space with experience building, deploying and maintaining models in classical Machine Learning, Computer vision and Natural Language Processing. He is a recent graduate of the University of Lagos with a bachelors degree in Pharmacy. He is a Machine Learning researcher with interest in application of machine learning in healthcare and drug discovery and has had the opportunity of sharing his research at top ML Conferences like Deep Learning Indaba. He is a member of communities like MLC Africa and Sisonke Biotik (a community of machine learning engineers and researchers focused of application of AI to healthcare challenges in Africa by Africans) and an active co-organiser of the Data Science for Health workshop at Deep Learning Indaba
