Mohammad Reza Sharifi is a seasoned data analyst and IT professional with a deep passion for leveraging technology to drive informed decision-making. With a background in Computer Science, Sharifi's journey began as an ESL instructor at the Star Educational Society in Kabul, where his passion for teaching and sharing knowledge first emerged. He earned his Bachelor's in Computer Applications from the University of Mysore on a prestigious ICCR scholarship, funded by the Indian Government, all while working as a Web Developer at Shishira Softbiz Pvt. Ltd.

With a focus on machine learning and data science, he holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Mysore in India and was a PhD student specializing in Computer Vision for nearly two years before deciding to pursue a second Master’s in Data Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the School of Computing, Newcastle University, UK. He aims to return to doctoral research in the future. His current research interests lie in Sentiment Analysis and NLP, particularly in applications involving LLMs.

Sharifi is skilled in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, R programming, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), and various frontend and backend web technologies. He is dedicated to using data and AI to tackle societal challenges and support institutions with innovative, data-driven solutions.

Beyond academics, Sharifi has been actively involved in teaching and knowledge-sharing. He conducted Full Stack Web Development classes at Aptech Computer Education, one of India’s leading IT training institutes. Additionally, through his own platform, Yes Techies (yestechies.com), he has been offering courses on web development, machine learning, deep learning, and other AI-related topics at various universities across India and Afghanistan. Currently, he is working on expanding Yes Techies into a comprehensive online platform that will provide bootcamps and training programs covering a wide range of AI-related subjects, from machine learning to AI agents and beyond.
