Nagesh Kumar Vinnakota is an engineering leader at Capital One with 21+ years of experience building large-scale, cloud-native, and distributed systems. He specializes in designing resilient, secure, and high-performance platforms across cloud, data, and AI.

His work focuses on architecting systems for extreme scale using AWS, Go, Java, Spark, and relational/NoSQL databases, with deep expertise in serverless architectures, distributed data platforms, CI/CD, large-scale reconciliation, and zero-downtime migrations. He is currently helping lead one of the largest fintech data migration initiatives, modernizing loyalty platforms through highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and idempotent migration patterns.
