Global Fintech Fest 2025

Global Fintech Fest is a major gathering of the global financial technology ecosystem, bringing together financial institutions, technology companies, investors, policymakers and innovators.

At the 2025 edition, I was invited by the Indian Banks' Association to present RISKON, our team's approach to dynamic and explainable credit-risk assessment, and discuss its potential to make credit assessment more inclusive for underbanked and new-to-credit individuals.

The session covered the problem of financial exclusion, our approach to combining financial behaviour indicators with machine learning, and the importance of explainability in credit-risk assessment. We discussed how technology can support more inclusive lending decisions while making risk evaluation more transparent and interpretable. The presentation also explored the broader potential of AI-driven approaches in addressing real-world challenges across the financial services ecosystem.
