Name: Patrick Lala Za Matenda

He has been working as an IT professional for about 17 years, having worked for one of the largest ISP (Internet Service Providers) in Angola, MSTelcom, S.A.R.L., where he worked as a Network Supervision Technician and Systems Administrator (OSS Engineer) for a period of 6 years and 7 months.

He then moved to another Telecommunications giant, Unitel, S.A., where he currently works as a Systems Engineer.

He has been working since the second half of 2008 as an enthusiast, activist and researcher in the field of Free and Open Source Software and is currently also involved in Digital Transformation.

In academia, he has been teaching at the University since March 2015, teaching Introduction to Software Management and Software Engineering.

In addition to his degree, he has several training courses in the fields of Webdesign, Webdevelopment, Linux Systems Administration (the latter with LPI and Suse Certifications), virtual environments, Cloud Computing, server administration, project management, ITIL and others, completed in Angola, Brazil, South Africa, the United States of America and India.

He is currently studying for a Master's degree in Digital Transformation from the Universidad Eropea Del Atlantico - Spain.

Travels: He has visited countries such as France, Portugal, Belgium, the USA, the UAE, India, Brazil, South Africa and Namibia.

He has also been to 14 of the 18 provinces of Angola.

Hobbies: He is a music lover in its various genres, films and theatre, literature and sports.
