Oh my... A user account is compromised! What should we do now!?
In case an account is compromised, or employee is terminated, do you have clear which steps need to be taken to block access for this user?
No, me neither, because I don’t know your environment and which steps need to be taken differs per environment. But I do know the steps you should take at a minimum! And I know it takes too much time to execute these steps without automation as it involves multiple steps in multiple portals of Microsoft.
In this session, we will explore the possibilities for automating the whole red button process using Microsoft Graph and Azure Logic Apps. This powerful combination allows us to automate (almost) everything related to Entra ID and Intune.
With this session I will get you started in building your own low-code automation. We walk through the steps we need to take to revoke user access, like disabling the user account and devices in Entra ID. But we also take device actions in Intune and Defender to block the users' devices as soon as possible.
Join my session and take the first step towards a more automated and secure future!
Create your own Microsoft Intune monitoring solution with Logic Apps
Do you want to get a notification when an Autopilot object doesn’t have a deployment profile assigned? Did you ever miss a new Intune service health message when you were already troubleshooting the issue for hours? Or did you ever run out of Microsoft Intune licenses without knowing it?
A lot of information is available in different Microsoft portals, but who pays attention to all this information during the day? Don’t we just want to get a notification via Teams or email when something important is happening?
As Microsoft doesn’t provide such a monitoring and notification solution, let`s build it ourselves!
During this session, we’ll have a look at Azure Logic Apps to build our own low-code Intune monitoring solution. We’ll have a look at the permissions and authentication. We’ll walk through a couple of monitoring examples. And we’ll discuss the different options for sending alerts.
Our journey to a modern Windows workplace
What is a modern workplace and what steps have we taken to get there?
In this session, I will take you on the journey of NN Group to a modern workplace. I’ll share experiences from our journey in this inspirational session without boring bullet point slides.
Like many Enterprise companies, NN Group`s existing workplace was a traditionally managed Windows workplace (HAAD joined with Configuration Manager). Our new modern workplace is a cloud-managed workplace (Azure AD joined and Intune-managed).
But how did we get to a modern workplace? Did we move step by step toward a cloud-managed workplace or did we take one big step toward that end goal?
During the session we will discuss, among other things, activating co-management and moving CM workloads to Intune. What are these benefits for us as IT and what is the user impact of this?
The impact of covid, working from home, and how this affected our choices to work towards the new workplace are discussed.
But also, how we ensure a safe workplace that meets the well-known security baselines. Do we use the Intune baselines for this, or not? And what is our reason for this choice?
How do we approach the application migration? How do we prepare our end users and business units for this potentially far-reaching change? And how do we keep the user impact as low as possible?
This and many more related topics will be covered in this session.
Are you working on the migration to a modern workplace yourself? Don't miss this session!
Monitor Intune with API from different perspectives
In this session, Peter and Sander bundle their expertise and show how we can monitor our Microsoft Intune environment in different ways.
As an example we show you how to monitor security baselines.
Peter uses Azure Logic App to get the job done. Sander shows how to monitor the security baselines with Azure Functions.
Both approaches rely on making use of the Graph API.
The following topics are covered:
• Authentication
• Get the correct information
• Loops
• Send alerts
Besides monitoring the security baselines, we discuss other parts of Intune, which we should keep an eye on and can be monitored by using graph API.
Moving to a cloud managed Windows workplace; notes from the field
Many companies are considering "Modern Management", a cloud-managed Windows workplace. That means no more Microsoft Entra hybrid joined devices and no more Group Policies and Configuration Manager. Instead of that, Entra joined devices and management with Microsoft Intune.
Migrating from a traditional managed workplace to a modern managed workplace comes with many challenges. And some people fear the migration to Entra joined devices.
In this session, I'll share tips and tricks to prepare you for a migration to the modern Windows workplace. And show we shouldn't fear moving to cloud-native Windows devices. I'll share my knowledge based on my own experience (of migrating 20,000 workplaces) and practical examples.
