Saiteja Jonnalagadda is a Senior Cloud Engineer at CVS Health, where he works on patient identity at national scale, deciding which records belong to the same person on a healthcare platform that serves more than 185 million people. He is the lead designer of its real-time demographic events service and its record reconciliation systems, and he built the Overmatched Records resolution system that corrects the cases where matching was too aggressive. He also defined the enterprise real-time event taxonomy that teams across the platform now follow.

His original research sits in the same field. He has written six papers in IEEE conferences and computing journals, three of them as sole author. One introduced salt-hashed Bloom filter encoding, a method for linking patient records across organizations without exposing the raw identifiers, presented at IEEE INTCEC. His other work covers real-time anomaly detection for fraud prevention at IEEE UEMCON and generative AI for synthetic patient data used to train identity matching and deduplication models.

He also helps decide what the field publishes. He serves on technical program committees, including the IEEE World AI IoT Congress, reviews for two IEEE journal pools, and has peer reviewed more than 100 papers across 25 or more international conferences. He has judged at Major League Hacking events, the Georgia Tech Capstone Design Expo, the Kennesaw State CCSE Computing Showcase, and LA Hacks.

He has built production data systems in healthcare, payments, and trading since 2019. He is an IEEE Senior Member and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, and holds an M.S. in Applied Computer Science.
