Making dollars and sense of public goods funding

Sustainably funding public goods is hard, just ask your local government. We know that free software, journalism, research, and similar efforts benefit everyone, whether or not users contribute to its creation. How then can we reach the world of everyone working on what they love while making a livable wage? At Snowdrift.coop, we have been working on concept called 'crowdmatching' that creates a network effect through mutual assurance to fund the commons.
