At Hold on Development Labs our four core principals are Innovation, Creativity, Integrity and Charity. We bring those core principles to everything we do.

Our mission is to stay on the cutting edge of Web3. The best way to do that is through collaboration with as many fellow innovators as we can find.

Due to its sustainability, our focus is mainly on building projects on The Hedera Network. We are also closely tied to NFT.com and we are currently building an exclusive DAO-run digital design marketplace: Fabriq.

Personally, I'm just a Web3 geek to the bone. I love the space and I love having the opportunity to help build the tokenized world we will very soon be living in.

Education and the Soul of Web3

I'm currently teaching the first Web3/NFT course at The Fashion Institute of Technology. The stated aim of the class is to take students from Idea to Whitepaper to Community to Mint and we're definitely doing that.

More importantly, though, I'm trying to instill in them a sense of what Web3 really is. The tenants of decentralization and self-sovereign identity and data ownership are far more important lessons to learn than just how to upload MetaData.

We're still such a small community and it's important for all of us to spread the word not just about Web3 technology but even more so about what it really means.

This is a precarious time for our ecosystem and it's up to every one of us to make sure the Web3 future is what we know it can be and not just more of the status quo.

We’re going DAO, DAO - Collaborate Now!

How DAOs evolve in the coming years will be at the core of what Web3 will become. Much like an individual DAO must learn to crawl then walk then run, the macro view of a DAO will, and should, evolve more slowly than some might like.

It's important to have as many conversations as we can and draw from as many resources as we can to nudge that process along.

In the Web3 space right now there's an amazing sense of “we’re all in this together”. One or two or twelve projects isn’t going to get it done. We need to work together to grow this ecosystem.

Collaboration is at the core of Web3 and should be at the core of the DAO movement. Established DAOs need to pass on their mistakes and successes and best practices to burgeoning DAOs. We're writing the manual for DAOs now, let's get it right!
