Sarah Khan is the founder of Sarah Khan Associates, a behavioural intelligence and research-translation firm based in Karachi. Her work sits at the intersection of research and practice, helping organisations and educators understand how people actually think, relate, and perform before investing in developing them.
She serves as Anchor Organisation Lead for Harvard University's EASEL Lab on the PSS-SEL Toolbox, where she led a cross-framework analysis of how social-emotional competencies are conceptualised across the Global South. She is a doctoral scholar in psychology at the University of Karachi, and has spent nine years designing and assessing social-emotional learning across formal and informal settings, including competency framework mapping & analysis across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Pakistan.
Her firm was recently named a top-10 beneficiary of the Standard Chartered Foundation WomenInTech Accelerator Cohort 8. Sarah's broader mission is to build a behavioural evidence base from the Global South, ensuring that the frameworks shaping how we develop people are honest enough to hold how different, and how similar, we actually are.
