A few things you can do with Azure Route Server that you may not have tried.
Azure Route Server is often treated as a black box that you turn on and forget. It does far more than advertise routes to your NVAs. This is a demo-led session covering three things you probably have not tried yet:
Anycast with F5 LTMs, advertising the same VIP from multiple instances and letting Route Server handle the path selection.
Hub to hub route propagation, getting prefixes to flow between hubs without stitching together a mess of static routes or UDRs.
Route maps on Route Server, filtering and manipulating advertised and learned routes to control exactly what goes where.
Two slides, then straight into live demos against the Azure portal.
Format: two slides, remainder live practical demos.
Target audience: network engineers moving into Azure, and cloud engineers who want to go beyond the basics of Route Server. Comfort with BGP concepts not assumed.
Preferred duration: 45 mins
First public delivery.
Technical requirements: Screen feed via USB C, and reliable internet access for the live demos, which run against the Azure portal.
I don't really understand DNS and at this point I am too embarrassed to ask.
A dive into Azure and hybrid DNS architecture including a refresher on some of the things that you might have overlooked when you learned about DNS.
