Sotiris Ouzounis holds an integrated master’s in biomedical engineering from the Dept. of Biomedical Engineering, University of West Attica, Greece. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the same department (Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. I. Kalatzis) while being a member of the Biomarker Discovery & Translational Research laboratory at the Institute of Chemical Biology, National Hellenic Research Foundation (Supervisor: Research Assist. Prof. T. Katsila). His dissertation is focused on the computational analysis of 1D and 3D data for drug repurposing in diabetes mellitus.
