Blueprints of Dreams: Creating Your Visioning Journey Map

How frequently do you pursue a goal without a clear vision? How often do you launch a team without co-creating a vision to guide the journey? What if you 1) start with the end in mind, 2) go from the future to the present and identify potential hurdles and responses, 3) identify your current reality, and 4) transverse from the present to the future and describe your goals and actions?

Participants can expect to gain valuable strategic planning and goal-setting skills in the Blueprints of Dreams: Creating your Visioning Journey Map (VJM) learning experience. This interactive session is where participants learn the principles of visioning and then apply them to create their VJMs. This hands-on approach reinforces learning and produces a practical tool that participants can use personally and professionally.

Using a VJM can significantly enhance the visioning process. It provides a structured yet flexible framework to explore different scenarios and options, often leading to insights and ideas that might not have been considered otherwise. This tool can be especially beneficial in a team setting, where it can help align diverse perspectives and foster a shared understanding and commitment to the goals.

Burn out - awareness, acceptance & recovery

This story is less about me. It is more about people who look like me and having the same experiences I will share. It is my hope that you find courage to take the necessary actions when you realise your cup is too full and you are burnt out.

I recall telling myself, just 1 more day, just 1 more week. Then it turned into 1 month, then few more months and then 6 months. Then I woke up one day realising I could not maintain the mask…I took time off.

I was burnt & fried out! Burn out? Does that really exist? Surely!

Key take-aways for the audience:
1. Knowing your self
2. Building boundaries
3. Recognising the flags
4. Recovery
5. Bouncing back
6. Managing expectations
